PODACTO is an audio drama / sound theater broadcast on digital media; In Podacto’s words, it is an Ear Theater experience. Setting out with the desire to create a new auditory experience, Podacto enriches theater and podcast with the possibilities of the sound design world, presenting the tradition of audio storytelling in a new form. Podacto brings together contemporary, classical and Podacto-specific original texts by local and foreign writers of the theater world with important actors of the theater stage. With its rich selection, Podacto offers a free/new approach for listeners. Founded by producers Nisan Ceren Özerten and Faruk Özerten, Podacto has been meeting with its audience on platforms such as Storytel, TiyatrolarTV and BluTV with nearly 100 plays since September 2020 in the first step. Winking at Turkey’s radio theater tradition, the project activates the five senses of the listener with innovative applications such as binaural sound designs.
